The project “togetHer” aims to add work value to the servicec provided in the migrant accommodation structures and to offer support to women who are in an volnurable situation due to the physical and psychological traumas they carry from their country of origin and their journey to reach Cyprus, which are exhibited in the refugee camps. In addition, the project has offered specially designed activities which help in women’s entertainment and social inclusion.
Actions
- Weekly 3-hour meetings in Refugee Accommodation Centres.
- Meetings with professionals in the sector of health.
- Psychological support with specialist psychotherapists using Art Therapy.
- Creative and innovative actions which aim to ensure the familiarity with local language, culture and society of Cyprus.
